Public Hearings on the Draft 2040 Regional Framework Plan

The Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission (NIPC) held hearings at the following locations from May 9 to 19, 2005 for public comment on the draft 2040 Regional Framework Plan for land use in northeastern Illinois. The public comment period ended May 24.  The NIPC Planning Committee will meet on June 16 to consider modifications based on the public comment period and to vote on whether to recommend final approval of the framework plan by the full Commission.  In that event, the Commission's vote would occur at its next scheduled meeting on June 29.  See the NIPC Events page for details of committee meetings.
