- Area is part of Big Rock Creek headwaters
- Much of this reach is unchannelized and has meanders
- Great Blue Herons and Egrets feed in creek (Ullberg obsrv)
- Entire corridor in need of field evaluation
- Area is a greenway corridor to Lone Grove F.P.

- Reed canary grass invasion, and creeksides becoming overgrown with brush (1996).
