- Hypericum pyrimidatum/Great St. John's Wort
- Artimesia serrata/Saw-toothed sage

- none
Other Significant Features:
- Remnant of Kaneville Esker found in unit east of Bliss Road
- Blue-Eyed mary colony in preserve
- Natural meanders of Blackberry Creek still exist
Protection Status:
- The entire site is owned by the Kane County Forest Preserve District
- A portion of the site southeast of Bliss Road is a designated Illinois State Nature Preserve.
Management Problems:
- Garlic Mustard
- Reed canary grass is wetland problem
- Soil compaction from hikers and mountain bikes
- Area heavily used for recreation (camping, hiking, etc)
