Management Problems:
- Intensive agriculture last observed by plane in 1986, no purple loosestrife problem at that time
- Site is an INAI site #640, noted for its bog plants found earlier this century
- Plants seen in 1940's and 50's include Eriophorum virginicum, Rhamnus alnifolia, Amelanchier inteior, Sambucus pubens, and Galium trifidum: none of these plants were observed in a September 1998 visit
- Suitable habitat appears to have been destroyed by silver maple invasion and likely hydrologic perturbations
- Adjacent residential development imminent.
