Other Significant Features:
- This site was included in Illinois Department of Conservation's Northeastern Illinois Wetland Bird Survey for Endangered and Threatened Birds
- In addition to grebe, Black Tern and Common Moorhen were observed 2 out of 5 years during study

- IDNR reports wetland impact from surrounding development
- Agricultural siltation.
