Management Problems:
- Significant declines in the quality of native plant communities present at this site and viable populations of threatened and endangered species due to the aggessive replacement by the exotic Buckthorns (Rhamnus cathartica and R.. frangula) and Reed canary grass (Phalaris arundinacea)
- Dense residential development of the lakeshore threatens water quality: runoff of nutrients.
