Census 2000 Results: Regional Tabular Summary of
Census General Demographic Profiles
In May 2001, NIPC published a new document titled
Data Bulletin
2-2001: Summary of Census
2000 Profiles of General Demographic Characteristics. It
serves as the regional report for Census 2000 data on
population by race, age, and sex, as well as information on household
composition and number and type of housing units. Information is
given for all counties, townships, and municipalities in Northeastern
Illinois. Where possible, 1990 Census data are displayed and
comparisons made between 1990 and 2000 Census results. Within the
document are the 14 tables listed below, all contained within one
Microsoft Excel workbook file, along with user notes and definitions.
