state legislators, local governmental officials, and other interested parties of
applications for federal and state grants that may have an impact on their area. The
application summary information provided is obviously a synopsis of that provided by the
applicant and does not include NIPC analysis. If you require more information please call
the contact person listed for each application.

Notification & Listing (41 KB)
The Planning Committee will consider these applications at its
September 16, 2004 meeting. NIPC's comments
and recommendations are
solely advisory as stipulated in our enabling legislation. However, the
project notification process affords local governments and others with an
early warning. It also provides an opportunity to identify and address
conflicts, duplications, or weaknesses in a proposed project. Our purpose
is the use of federal and state grants to further local and area wide
objectives.
All listed requests for funding, unless objections are received or a
project is identified as having a potential regional impact, will be
addressed as part of a consent agenda by the Commission's
Planning Committee at its 9:00 A.M.
September 16, 2004 meeting. Finally, you can
help us if you include our NIPC Project Number in any project related
correspondence.
